PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foundation beam structure and a method of constructing the foundation beam that can pass through and can be constructed with a small number of people compared with the case of providing a manhole in the foundation beam.SOLUTION: A foundation beam structure 10 is provided with a footing 20 formed at the top of a ground 12, a foundation beam 30 bridged over the top of the footing 20, and a space V that can pass through and is formed between the surface of the ground 12 and the lower surface of the foundation beam 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
