PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the situation where the airtight material deteriorates prematurely without impairing the design property.SOLUTION: An outdoor blind device includes a plurality of slats 30 juxtaposed in the vertical direction in which a gap can be secured between the vertically adjoined slats 30 when the respective slats 30 are placed in the horizontal posture, while the vertically adjoined slats 30 are brought into contact with each other via an airtight material 40 when the respective slats 30 are arranged in the vertical posture, and each of the slats 30 is provided with a lower edge constituent portion 30b protruding downward at an edge portion which is located on the outdoor side when placed in the horizontal posture and is provided with an airtight material 40 that protrudes toward the inside of a room from above the lowermost end of a lower edge constituent portion 30b in the horizontal posture.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】意匠性を損なうことなく、気密材が早期に劣化する事態を防止する。【解決手段】上下方向に沿って並設した複数のスラット３０を備え、それぞれのスラット３０が横向き姿勢に配置された場合に上下のスラット３０の間に隙間を確保することが可能となる一方、それぞれのスラット３０が縦向き姿勢に配置された場合に気密材４０を介して上下のスラット３０が互いに接触される外部ブラインド装置であって、スラット３０には、横向き姿勢に配置された場合に室外側となる縁部に下方に向けて突出する下縁構成部分３０ｂが設けられ、かつ横向き姿勢において下縁構成部分３０ｂの最下端よりも上方となる位置から室内に向けて気密材４０が突出されている。【選択図】図４
