PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover unit capable of effectively preventing odor resulting from sewage or the like from leaking out of a water tank by fitting a second fitting part provided on the cover into a cylindrical member to tightly seal the water tank.SOLUTION: There is provided a cover unit of a cylindrical water tank installed in a pit existing on a lower position relative to a sewage pipe, comprising: a cylindrical member that comprises a cylinder body having a first end part and a second end part, and a fitting part provided on the first end part of the cylinder body to be fitted into an opening end part of a water tank body; and a cover that comprises an approximately disc-shaped cover body and a second fitting part provided on the attachment face of the cover body to be fitted into the second end part of the cylindrical member from inside with the second fitting part having a smaller diameter relative to the cover body and hence can effectively prevent odor from leaking out of the water tank.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
