PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifting cord position adjusting mechanism in which the position where a lifting cord is hung down can be adjusted regardless of the arrangement place of a taking-up drum.SOLUTION: A lifting cord position adjusting mechanism comprises: a taking-up drum which is rotated integrally with a shaft supported in a head rail to which a screen hung down as capable of lifting through a lifting cord is attached and which is provided for taking up the lifting cord; an operation pulley to which an operation string that rotates the taking-up drum is engaged through a shaft for implementing taking-up of the lifting cord; a clutch which is integrated with the operation pulley and is attached in the longitudinal direction of the head rail at one end part or at the other end part in the head rail; and a lifting cord position adjusting part which has the length from the one end part to the other end part in the head rail to the open end of the clutch, draws the lifting cord hung down from the taking-up drum to the one end part or the other end part in the head rail, and hangs down the lifting cord from the one end part or the other end part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
