PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cord winding device in a shading device in which a specific cord causes shading slats to transfer, the cord winding device being configured to reduce labor involved in winding and removing the specific cord.SOLUTION: A cord winding device 8 of the present invention includes either one or both of a moving mechanism and an operating mechanism, the moving mechanism being configured to allow a slide hook 81, which can provide a wound state of a lift cord 10 that extends from a head box 1 via a tilt operation rod 15, to slide along the tilt operation rod 15, the operating mechanism being configured to cause the slide hook 81 to slide along the tilt operation rod 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
