PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation member that can have larger ventilation area, and is superior in workability and highly waterproof.SOLUTION: A ventilation member A consists of: an external ventilation piece 1 which has an air vent 10 made open to an outer side; an opening 11 which is made open to an inner side; an internal ventilation piece 2 which has an edge 11a as an edge of the opening 11; and a reinforcing member 4 which has a fixed part 4a coupling the external ventilation piece 1 and the internal ventilation piece 2 to each other and fixed to at least one of a wall-side fitting surface 21 and a ceiling-side fitting surface 28 of a building and an extension part 4b extending from the fixed part 4a. Further, the ventilation member has an on/off valve 3 which is arranged between the air vent 10 and the opening 11 to be supported at the extension part 4b of the reinforcing member 4, and is movable toward the opening 11 with wind pressure to close the opening 11. 【課題】換気面積を多く設けることができると共に、施工性が優れ、高い防水性を備えうる通気部材を提供する。【解決手段】通気部材Ａは、外部側に開放する通気孔１０を有する外部通気片１と、内部側に開放する開口１１と、開口１１の縁となる縁１１ａを有する内部通気片２と、外部通気片１と内部通気片２とを連結させ、建屋の壁側取付面２１か、天井側取付面２８か少なくとも一方に固定しうる固定部４ａと、固定部４ａから延設された延設部４ｂとを有する補強部材４と、からなる。また、通気孔１０と開口１１との間に配されて補強部材４の延設部４ｂに支持され、風圧力により開口１１方向に可動し、開口１１を閉鎖しうる開閉弁３を有する。外部通気片２は、取り外ししうるように、補強部材４に装着されている。【選択図】 図２
