PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover and a cover assembly for a drainage channel on which a bicycle can smoothly cycle.SOLUTION: A cover that is installed in an opening 64 of an embedded block 50 for a drainage channel comprises: a first portion 20 that is porous and installed to a first side 12 of the opening; and a second portion 30 that is sealed type, wider than the first portion 20, and installed to a second side 13 of the opening. The second portion includes a first engaging part 35 to be engaged with the block and a second engaging part 36 to be engaged with the first portion.
