PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispersant for hydraulic compositions, the dispersant having stable dispersibility regardless of what kind of impurity an aggregate has, thereby obtaining predetermined flowability.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a hydraulic composition comprising a polycondensated product obtained by polycondensating a monomeric mixture, wherein the monomeric mixture comprises: an alkylene oxide adduct of phenols, represented by formula (A), or its derivative; a phosphate or sulfate derivative of a hydrocarbon-substituted phenol alkylene oxide adduct, represented by formula (B); and an aldehyde represented by formula (C). This invention further relates to a polycondensated composition having: the monomer; and an alkylene oxide adduct of hydroxyethyl phenol, represented by formula (D), or its derivative. Formula (A): RO-[AO]-R. The formula (B): R-Ar-O-[AO]-X. The formula (C): R-CHO, HO(CHO), or (CHO). The formula (D): X-[OA]-O-Ar-(CH)-O-AO)-X.SELECTED DRAWING: None
