PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water intake/discharge port structure and a method for constructing the water intake/discharge port structure which is superior in workability, economical efficiency and safety compared to conventional ones.SOLUTION: The water intake/discharge port structure comprises a vertical pipe 12 arranged to aim the direction of an axis O1 in a vertical direction, and a flowing water channel connection pipe 13 which is arranged in the vertical pipe 12 integrally so as to penetrate the vertical pipe 12 and so that the vertical pipe 12 and their axis O1, O2 intersect, and which connects a water intake port or a water discharge port of a flowing water channel 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
