PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a step board support member capable of suppressing generation of a gap at an inner end portion of a riser board.SOLUTION: A decorative material (step board support member) 30 formed in a plate shape capable of following a support column 11 set inside the rounded portion of a spiral stairway A comprises: step board support grooves 33, 34, 35 into which the inner end portion of a step board 21 is horizontally inserted and supports the board; and rising plate abutting portions 36, 37, 38 disposed in contact with or close to a front side surface 221 of the inner edge portion of a rising plate 22 along the vertical direction. In the decorative material 30, elastically deformable partition members 36b, 37b, 38b are provided at the edge portions opposed to the front side surface 221 of the rising plate 22 at the time of installation at the rising plate abutting portions 36, 37, 38.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5C
【課題】蹴込み板の内側端部に隙間が生じるのを抑制可能な段板支持材を提供する。【解決手段】廻り階段Ａの廻り込み部分の内側に設置された支持柱１１に沿う可能な板状に形成された化粧材（段板支持材）３０であって、段板２１の内側端部が水平方向に差し込まれて支持する各段板支持溝３３，３４，３５、および、蹴込み板２２の内側端縁部の表側面２２１に上下方向に沿って当接あるいは近接して配置された各蹴込み板当接部３６，３７，３８と、を備え、各蹴込み板当接部３６，３７，３８において、設置時に蹴込み板２２の表側面２２１と対向する端縁部に、弾性変形可能な見切材３６ｂ，３７ｂ，３８ｂが設けられていることを特徴とする化粧材３０とした。【選択図】図５Ｃ
