PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent storage efficiency of storage shelves from being reduced and to improve an entering/leaving performance.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a mechanical parking system comprising: storage shelves on which vehicles are stored; double-row type storage shelf groups 12 and 13 in which each of the storage shelves includes a front shelf and a deep shelf; and a carriage 5 for carrying a vehicle along the double-row type storage shelf groups 12 and 13. The mechanical parking system also comprises conveyors 30A and 30B which are disposed at positions adjacent to the carriage 5 and sized enough for disposing multiple vehicles. In the conveyors 30A and 30B, multiple first entering sub conveyors 30A1 and second entering sub conveyors 30A2, which can place at least one vehicle, are arranged side by side from one end side that is a traveling carriage side to the other end side in a travel direction of the conveyor 30A, and multiple first leaving sub conveyors 30B1 and second leaving sub conveyors 30B2 are arranged side by side from one end side that is a traveling carriage side to the other end side in a travel direction of the conveyer 30B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
