PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of misdetection when a solar battery is used as human body detection means.SOLUTION: A remote controller for remotely controlling a water section apparatus, comprises a communication unit, a solar battery, a determination unit, a communication controller, and a housing. The communication unit transmits a control signal for controlling the water section apparatus wirelessly. The solar battery generates electric power by light. The determination unit determines presence or absence of a human body on the basis of a change in output of the solar battery. The communication controller, in a case where it is determined that the human body exists by the determination unit, controls the communication unit to communicate with the water section apparatus. The housing houses the communication unit, the solar battery, the determination unit and the communication controller. A light receiving section of the solar battery is provided on a front surface that is opposite to an attachment surface to a vertical surface of the housing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2B
【課題】太陽電池を人体検知手段として利用する際の誤検知の発生を抑制すること。【解決手段】実施形態に係るリモコン装置は、水回り機器を遠隔制御するリモコン装置であって、通信部と、太陽電池と、判定部と、通信制御部と、筐体とを備える。通信部は、水回り機器を制御する制御信号を無線送信する。太陽電池は、光によって発電する。判定部は、太陽電池の出力変化に基づき、人体の有無を判定する。通信制御部は、判定部によって人体が存在すると判定された場合に、通信部を制御して水回り機器との通信を行わせる。筐体は、通信部、太陽電池、判定部および通信制御部を収容する。そして、筐体の垂直面への取付面とは反対側の面である正面に太陽電池の受光部が設けられる。【選択図】図２Ｂ
