To increase the rigidity of a joint while shortening the construction period at the site.SOLUTION: An underground structure 10 extends in the longitudinal direction and comprises a plurality of steel segments 31 arranged in the longitudinal direction and the circumferential direction of the underground structure 10, a steel skeleton 30 having an elongate joint for joining the steel segments 31 adjacent to each other in the longitudinal direction and a transverse joint for joining the steel segments 31 adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction, and a filling transmission material filled between the steel segments 31 adjacent in the longitudinal direction and fixing the same to the joint of at least one of the longitudinal joint and the transverse joint.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
