ROTARY TYPE LATCH MECHANISM FOR SWINGING DOOR
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary type latch mechanism for swinging doors which fails to cause persons to confine in the event that parts and mechanisms constituting an interlocking mechanism between a latch and a rotating knob and a locking mechanism such as a spring that presses the latch are brought into malfunction on account of some reasons including, for example, aging deterioration or effects due to a disaster such as an earthquake.SOLUTION: A rotary type latch mechanism 1 for swinging doors, that is configured to lock an open/close movement of the swinging door, that is hinged to a fitting frame, includes a lock box 10 attached to the door, a gear 3 connected to the lock box 10 for rotation about a vertically extending shaft 31, gear locking means 4 for locking a rotation of the gear 3 or releasing such a locking. The shaft 31 presses the gear 3 with the elastic force of the elastic body 5 to elastically support a part of the gear from an end face of the door toward the fitting frame so as to protrude or retreat. Locking means 2 for locking the opening and closing of the door by locking teeth of the gear 3 in a state locked by the gear locking means 4 is attached to a position of the fitting frame which is corresponding to the gear 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】経年劣化や地震等の災害による抗力など、何等かの理由により、ラッチと回動するドアノブとの連動機構やラッチを押圧するばねなどのロック機構を構成する部品や機構が動作不能となった場合でも閉じ込められることのない開き扉の回転式ラッチ機構を提供する。【解決手段】建具枠に蝶番を介して取り付けられて開閉自在な扉の開閉をロックする開き扉の回転式ラッチ機構1において、扉に取り付けられる錠箱10と、この錠箱10に上下方向を軸31として回転自在に取り付けられたギア3と、このギア3の回転を阻止又はその解除自在なギアロック手段4と、を備え、ギア3を、軸31が弾性体5の弾性力で押圧して前記扉の端面から前記建具枠に向けてその一部が突出又は後退可能に弾性支持するとともに、前記建具枠には、ギア3と対応する位置に、ギアロック手段4でロックされた状態でギア3の歯を係止して前記扉の開閉をロックする係止手段2を取り付ける。【選択図】図1
