PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer ceramic capacitor which enables the suppression of cracking, and a method for manufacturing the multilayer ceramic capacitor.SOLUTION: A multilayer ceramic capacitor comprises a laminate structure arranged by alternately laminating dielectric layers including a ceramic as a primary component and internal electrode layers including a metal as a primary component. The number of crystal grain boundaries of the primary component metal of the internal electrode layer is one(1) /μm or more in an extending direction of the internal electrode layer.
