PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposer which reduces cost, facilitates maintenance and, at the same time, can easily give rise to siphon phenomenon in a short time.SOLUTION: A disposer includes: a housing which is provided with an introduction part for introducing garbage and water on an upper part, and a discharge part for discharging the garbage and water on a lower part lateral surface; a rotary plate which divides an inner part space of the housing into a crushing chamber located on the introduction part side and the discharge chamber located on the discharge part side; a driving part which transmits a rotation driving force to the rotary plate; a hammer which is provided on a first surface of the rotary plate located on the crushing chamber side; an impeller provided on a second surface of the rotary plate which is located on the discharge chamber side and is located on the opposite side of the first surface; an annular stationary tooth which is provided on an inner side lateral surface of the housing so as to surround separately the circumference of the rotary plate; and a valve which is provided on the discharge part and controls storage quantity of water and discharge quantity of water in the discharge part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
