PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective structure in which a main girder and a floor slab are separately installed, which allows a reduction in the number of support pillars compared with conventional structures, and which has a good appearance.SOLUTION: A protective structure includes: a plurality of pairs of juxtaposed support pillars; a main girder constructed over the pair of support pillars; and a floor slab constructed over the adjacent main girders. The number of support pillars can be reduced and the interval between the adjacent support pillars widened compared to conventional structures by providing the main girder and the floor slab separately.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
