DAMPER FITTING METHOD
To provide a method of fitting a damper easily even if an interval between a structure and a damper is large.SOLUTION: A damper fitting method has a second step of fixing a damper side first mounting surface 6 on a structure side first mounting surface 10, followed by insertion of a traction bolt 16 into a damper side second mounting surface 7 and a structure side second mounting surface 11; then, a third step of mounting a jack 12 to the traction bolt 16; then, a fourth step of extending a damper 1 with the jack 12; a fifth step after the first step and before the fourth step in which a guide bolt 13 is allowed to pass through the damper side second mounting surface 7 and the structure side second mounting surface 11; a sixth step of removing the guide bolt 13 and instead allowing a fixing bolt 20 to pass to give a fastening force between the damper side second mounting surface 7 and the structure side second mounting surface 11; and a seventh step of removing the jack 12 and the traction bot 16 and instead allowing the fixing bolt 20 to pass therethrough to be tightened thereto.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
