To provide a light emitting guard fence with which necessary strength can be ensured, the existence of the guard fence can be notified without using an external power supply, and which illuminates an area around the feet of pedestrians.SOLUTION: A guard fence in which a plurality of horizontal pipes are stretched between vertical supports includes at least one horizontal pipe 12 having a light emitting function. The light emitting horizontal pipe has a structure in which an upper opening of a metallic half pipe 12B is sealed with an optically transparent cover 12A. Both ends of the light emitting horizontal pipe can be attached to a bracket 11A of a vertical support 11. A solar panel 21 is disposed under the optically transparent cover of the light emitting horizontal pipe. A controller 22, a storage battery 23, and an output circuit 24 are built into the light emitting horizontal pipe. The metallic half pipe of the light emitting horizontal pipe has a recessed groove for fitting extending in the longer direction on the outer face. A light emitting module 25 is fitted into the recessed groove for fitting. During the daytime, the controller stores the generated power of the solar panel in the storage battery. During the nighttime, electrical power of the storage battery is applied to the output circuit to cause the light emitting module to emit light.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】 必要な強度を確保し、外部電源を使用することなく防護柵の存在を知らしめ、歩行者への足元を照明する発光防護柵を提供する。【解決手段】 垂直支柱の間に複数の横パイプを掛け渡してなる防護柵において、少なくとも１つの横パイプ１２は発光機能を備え、発光横パイプは金属製の半パイプ１２Ｂの上側開口を光透過性のカバー１２Ａで封鎖した構造をなし、発光横パイプの両端部は垂直支柱１１のブラケット１１Ａに取付け可能となし、発光横パイプの光透過性カバーの下側にはソーラパネル２１が配置され、発光横パイプ内にはコントローラ２２、蓄電池２３及び出力回路２４が内蔵され、発光横パイプの金属製の半パイプは外面に長手方向に伸びる嵌込み凹溝を備え、嵌込み凹溝には発光モジュール２５が嵌め込まれ、昼間にはコントローラがソーラパネルの発電電力を蓄電池に蓄電し、夜間には蓄電池の電力を出力回路に与えて発光モジュールを発光させる。【選択図】 図２
