To provide technique capable of suitably closing a flow passage in power failure.SOLUTION: A shutoff valve according to the present invention is connected with piping and closes a flow passage of fluid passing through the piping in power failure. The shutoff valve includes a valve element which opens and closes the flow passage, an interlocking part which is connected with the valve element and is interlocked with opening and closing operation of the valve element, and a driving part which receives supply of electric power and drives the valve element through the interlocking part so as to maintain the valve element in a valve open state. When supply of the electric power is stopped and the driving part does not maintain the valve element in the valve open state, the valve element falls by its own weight or is moved through the interlocking part by falling of a weight connected with the interlocking part, and whereby, the valve element is put in a close state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】停電時に流路を適切に閉じる技術を提供する。【解決手段】本発明に係る遮断弁は、配管と接続され、停電時に前記配管内を通る流体の流路を閉じる遮断弁であって、前記流路の開閉を行う弁体と、前記弁体に接続され、前記弁体の開閉動作と連動する連動部と、電力の供給を受け、前記連動部を介して前記弁体を駆動して、前記弁体を開弁状態に保持する駆動部とを備え、前記電力の供給が停止して前記駆動部が前記弁体を開弁状態に保持しなくなった場合に、前記弁体が自重により落下すること、又は前記連動部に接続された錘の落下により前記連動部を介して前記弁体を移動させることによって、前記弁体を閉状態とする。【選択図】図1
