To appropriately fix bodies to be fixed to each floor at each story so that the body to be fixed at the upper story and the body to be fixed at the lower story are satisfactorily aligned, when a structure having a plurality of stories is constructed.SOLUTION: A method for constructing a building that fixes exterior wall panels 2 to mounting brackets 3 at each story of a building having a plurality of stories, and constructs the building so that the exterior wall panels 2 of respective stories are aligned in a vertical direction includes: a step of aligning the mounting bracket 3 at the upper story and the mounting bracket 3 at the lower story in a vertical direction; a step of respectively positioning the mounting bracket 3 at the upper story and the mounting bracket 3 at the lower story in a predetermined direction; and a step of respectively fixing the exterior wall panels 2 to the positioned mounting bracket 3 at the upper story and to the positioned mounting bracket 3 at the lower story.
