To provide a revolving hydraulic shovel capable of performing an excavation work satisfying a required accuracy while protecting a revolving parking brake.SOLUTION: A hydraulic shovel comprises: revolving control devices 12,13 controlling operation of a revolving actuator 11 based on a revolving operation command; arm control devices 17,18 controlling operation of an arm actuator 8 based on an arm operation command; a revolving parking brake 30; a brake switching device 40; a brake control portion; and an excavation operation determination portion 50. The brake control portion: when the excavation operation determination portion determines that an arm pull operation is not a finishing construction operation, operates the brake switching device 40 so that the revolving parking brake 30 becomes a brake release state; and, when the excavation operation determination portion determines that an arm pull operation is a finishing construction operation, operates the brake switching device 40 so that the revolving parking brake 30 becomes a brake operation state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】旋回パーキングブレーキを保護しながら要求精度を満たす掘削作業が可能な旋回式油圧ショベルを提供する。【解決手段】油圧ショベルは、旋回指令操作に基いて旋回アクチュエータ１１の作動を制御する旋回制御装置１２，１３と、アーム操作指令に基づいてアームアクチュエータ８の作動を制御するアーム制御装置１７，１８と、旋回パーキングブレーキ３０と、ブレーキ切換装置４０と、ブレーキ制御部及び掘削動作判定部５０と、を備える。ブレーキ制御部は、アーム引き動作が仕上げ施工動作でないと掘削動作判定部が判定した場合には旋回パーキングブレーキ３０をブレーキ解除状態にするようにブレーキ切換装置４０を作動させ、前記アーム引き動作が仕上げ施工動作であると掘削動作判定部が判定した場合は旋回パーキングブレーキ３０を前記ブレーキ作動状態にするようにブレーキ切換装置４０を作動させる。【選択図】図１
