To provide a base isolation support device which has a good look and further is capable of reducing an occupied space, presenting a base isolation function for a long time and further appropriately performing base isolation support on an upper structure.SOLUTION: A base isolation support device 1 comprises a lower base isolation support device 4 which is arranged between a floor 2 and an intermediate base 3. The lower base isolation support device 4 includes: a lower support mechanism 14 and an upper support mechanism 18; intermediate support mechanisms 21 and 24; and a block and generation mechanism 25 for blocking separation of intermediate slide lower surfaces 19 and 22 from slide upper surfaces 12 and 13 and separation of intermediate slide upper surfaces 20 and 23 from slide lower surfaces 16 and 17 and, on the other hand, generating sliding of the intermediate slide lower surfaces 19 and 22 in directions B and A with respect to the slide upper surfaces 12 and 13 and sliding of the intermediate slide upper surfaces 20 and 23 in the direction B with respect to the slide lower surfaces 16 and 17.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
