To provide a functional wallpaper containing a functional substance such as moisture absorbent, active carbon, etc., and a method of manufacturing a functional wallpaper.SOLUTION: In a functional wallpaper 11, sheets 12 and 13 made of nonwoven fabric containing thermoplastic fiber are overlapped each other, and both the sheets 12 and 13 are bonded by heat melting of thermoplastic resin on a partition wall 15a projecting from an opposed face 15 (sheet surface) of the sheet 13. Furthermore, a plurality of accommodation chambers 15b closed by the partition wall 15a and both the sheets 12 and 13 are formed, and the accommodation chamber 15b is filled with silica gel 16 (functional substance) in granular or powdery state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】吸湿剤や活性炭等の機能性物質を内装した機能性壁紙及び機能性壁紙の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】機能性壁紙１１は、熱可塑性繊維を含む不織布からなるシート１２、１３が重ね合わせられているとともに、両シート１２、１３間は、一方のシート１３の対向面１５（シート面）から突出した区画壁１５ａにおいて、熱可塑性樹脂の加熱溶融により接着されている。また、区画壁１５ａと両シート１２、１３により閉塞した収納室１５ｂが複数形成され、収納室１５ｂには、粒状または粉状をなすシリカゲル１６（機能性物質）が充填されている。【選択図】図２
