To provide a decontamination method and decontamination device of radioactive contaminated rainwater capable of preventing the reduction of a drainage function due to clogging in an absorbent part, and coping with large variation in an amount of rainfall.SOLUTION: There is provided a decontamination device attached on a rain gutter so as to be used, the rain gutter which comprising: a cartridge container 5 configured by filling a radioactive nuclide removal material 3a; a short pipe 8 configured to surround the cartridge container 5; and a flange 8a configured to attach the short pipe 8 to the rain gutter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
