SLIDE BEARING DEVICE
To provide a slide bearing device capable of achieving base isolation effect for huge quake motion and long-period large amplitude quake motion while exhibiting high base isolation effect for quake motion of an ordinary degree.SOLUTION: A slide bearing device 1 includes a first slid member 3 and a second slid member 4, a bearing body 5 disposed between the first slid member 3 and the second slid member 4, a first sliding member 6 fixed by the bearing body 5 and brought into slide contact with the first slid member 3, and a second sliding member 7 fixed by the bearing body 5 and brought into slide contact with the second slid member 4. The slide bearing device 1 further includes a first stopper mechanism 5a restricting a slide contact area between the first slid member 3 and the first sliding member 6, and a second stopper mechanism 5b restricting a slide contact area between the second slid member and the second sliding member. A second friction coefficient between the second slid member 4 and the second sliding member 7 is smaller than a first friction coefficient between the first slid member 3 and the first sliding member 6, and the second slide contact area is larger than the first slide contact area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
