To provide a building material having a deodorant function, produced by using aggregate and a binder both derived exclusively from a natural material.SOLUTION: The building material comprising a building material base body and a coating layer disposed on the surface thereof, with the coating layer containing a hydraulic binder, aggregate, and 10 to 15 weight parts of dried coffee bean shells and 1 to 10 weight parts of wood chips or wood fibers as ingredients relative to 100 weight parts of the sum of the hydraulic binder and the aggregate comprising at least one selected from sand, gravel, a pebble, and stone dust, is characterized in that the hydraulic binder contains magnesia based binder including magnesium oxide, magnesium chloride and magnesium sulfate, and acicular calcium metasilicate by a weight ratio of 100:20 to 100:80.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】骨材、バインダーともに自然素材のみを用いて製造される、消臭機能を有する建築材料を提供する。【解決手段】 建築材料基体の表面にコーティング層を有し、前記コーティング層は、水硬性バインダーと砂、砂利、小石、石粉の１種類以上からなる骨材との合計１００重量部に対して、乾燥コーヒー殻１０〜１５重量部、木材チップ又は木材繊維１〜１０重量部を材料として含有しており、前記水硬性バインダーは、酸化マグネシウム、塩化マグネシウム、硫酸マグネシウムを含むマグネシア系結合材と、針状メタケイ酸カルシウムとを１００：２０〜１００：８０の重量比で含むものであることを特徴とする建築材料。【選択図】図１
