ON-VEHICLE UNIT, COMMUNICATION SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE, COMMUNICATION PROCESSING METHOD AND CONTROL PROGRAM
To provide an on-vehicle unit capable of expanding a transmission range of signals transmitted from a vehicle to a portable unit as well as solving a problem of a dead zone region, and also capable of performing radio communication with a portable unit placed within the expanded transmission range.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle unit allows a plurality of transmission antennas arranged separately on a vehicle to transmit signals, and performs processing corresponding to response signals from a portable unit that receives the signals. The on-vehicle unit comprises: a first transmission control part that allows at least two transmission antennas among the plurality of transmission antennas to transmit signals at about the same time; a phase control part that changes a phase relation of the signals that the two transmission antennas transmit at about the same time, if response signals from the portable unit to the signals transmitted from the two antennas have not received; and a second transmission control part that allows the two transmission antennas to transmit the signals whose phase relation is changed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】車両から携帯機へ送信される信号の送信範囲を拡大すると共に、不感帯領域の問題を解消することができ、拡大された送信範囲内にある携帯機と無線通信を行うことができる車載機を提供する。【解決手段】車載機は、車両に離隔配置された複数の送信アンテナから信号を送信させ、信号を受信した携帯機からの応答信号に応じて処理を行う。車載機は、複数の送信アンテナのうち、少なくとも2つの送信アンテナから信号を同時的に送信させる第1送信制御部と、2つの送信アンテナから送信させた信号に対する携帯機からの応答信号を受信しなかった場合、上記2つの送信アンテナから同時的に送信させる信号の位相関係を変化させる位相制御部と、上記2つの送信アンテナから位相関係を変化させた信号を送信させる第2送信制御部とを備える。【選択図】図1
