To provide the infiltration trench and the method for manufacturing the same, that can realize high drainage performance.SOLUTION: The infiltration trench 1 having continuous gapless water inlets 2a, 2b, 2c and internal spaces 3a, 3b, 3c along an axis L1 comprises: a plurality of peripheral wall portions 4a, 4b, 4c extending in a circumferential direction and having a substantially C-shaped section perpendicular to the axis, and a base 5 that is a long body extending in a straight line direction by connecting one end portion in a circumferential direction of each of the peripheral wall portions 4a to 4c, wherein each water inlet 2a, 2b, 2c has a shape twisted over an entire length in an axis L1 direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
