To thin down a slide door driver.SOLUTION: A slide door driver 10 comprises: a motor 24; a speed reduction mechanism 28 for reducing speed of rotation of the motor 24; an opening cable 20a and closing cable 20b, each of which has one end fixed to a slide door of a vehicle; an opening drum 70 around which the opening cable 20a is wound, the opening drum being rotated by the speed reduction mechanism 28; and a closing drum 72 around which the closing cable 20b is wound, the closing drum being rotated by the speed reduction mechanism 28. Axes of rotation of the motor 24, opening drum 70, and closing drum 72 are in parallel with each other. The opening drum 70 and closing drum 72 are arranged in parallel in the radial direction. Thereby, useless parts in ranges wound by the opening cable 20a and closing cable 20b of the opening drum 70 and closing drum 72 are eliminated, and lengths in the axial direction of the opening drum 70 and closing drum 72 are shorten by lengths corresponding to the parts, which implements thinning down as a whole.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
