To provide a stairs device that can be easily assembled, a side plate, and a method of assembling the stairs device.SOLUTION: The stairs device according to this embodiment comprises: a first tread in which spiral stairs connecting straight stairs on a lower floor side along one surface of a wall body and straight stairs on an upper floor side along the other surface of the wall body are arranged at a corner between an end surface of the wall body and the one surface of the wall body; a second tread arranged at a corner between the end surface of the wall body and the other surface of the wall body; and a third tread adjacent to the upper floor side of the first tread; a fourth tread adjacent to the upper floor side of the third tread and the lower floor side of the second tread; a lower side plate provided with a notch or an insertion groove into which a part of a peripheral edge of each of the first tread and the third tread is inserted, and attached to the end surface of the wall body; and an upper side plate provided with a notch or an insertion groove into which a part of a peripheral edge of each of the second tread and the fourth tread is inserted, and attached to the end surface of the wall body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
