To provide a novel organic titanium compound which has curability same as that of a prior organic titanium compound, provides a moisture-curable composition compounded with the organic titanium compound and excellent in curability, the moisture-curable composition compounded with no filler providing an elastic solid body having high transparency when the moisture-curable composition compounded with no filler is cured, and to provide a moisture-curable composition such as a room temperature-curable organopolysiloxane composition containing the organic titanium compound as a curing catalyst, and providing an elastomer by being cured, a molded body obtained by curing the composition, and the like.SOLUTION: The organic titanium compound contains at least one hydrolysable group represented by the following structural formula (1): -O-E-Si(R)(1) where E is a 1-4 C alkylene group, and R is a 1-4C alkyl group.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】従来の有機チタン化合物と同等の硬化性を有し、かつ該有機チタン化合物を配合した湿気硬化型組成物の硬化性が良好で、さらに充填剤を未配合とした該湿気硬化型組成物が硬化した際、透明性が高い弾性固体物を与える新規有機チタン化合物、及び該有機チタン化合物を硬化触媒として含有し硬化してエラストマーを与える室温硬化性オルガノポリシロキサン組成物等の湿気硬化型組成物、該組成物を硬化して得られる成形体などを提供する。【解決手段】下記構造式(1)で示される加水分解性基を分子中に少なくとも1つ含むものである有機チタン化合物。−O−E−Si(R)3(1)(式中、Eは炭素原子数1〜4のアルキレン基であり、Rは炭素原子数1〜4のアルキル基である。)【選択図】なし
