To provide a coating agent for a floor which can be used under an environment such that safety is high and is excellent in glossiness and durability.SOLUTION: A coating agent for a floor contains any one or both of a silane coupling agent and alkoxysilane as a first component, any one or both of silica and a metal oxide as a second component, a leveling agent as a third component, a curing catalyst as a fourth component, and water as a fifth component, where a ratio of the first component is 5 mass% or more and 70 mass% or less to the total mass of the first to fifth components, a ratio of the second component is 1 mass% or more and 50 mass% or less, a ratio of the third component is 0.001 mass% or more and 1 mass% or less, a ratio of the fourth component is 0 mass% or more and 7 mass% or less, and a ratio of the fifth component is the balance, and a ratio of the total mass of the first to fifth components is 95 mass% or more and 100 mass% or less to the total mass of the coating agent for the floor.SELECTED DRAWING: None
