To provide an electric hydraulic shovel capable of surely preventing damage of a motor when a load of the motor for driving a hydraulic pump surges due to the increase in a discharge amount of the hydraulic pump of HST in an extremely cold environment.SOLUTION: In a normal temperature range, a pump discharge amount V2 is calculated from a pump discharge pressure according to a characteristic line Ln of a normal limit mode, and a pump discharge pressure V1 acquired according to a lever operation is limited with the pump discharge amount V2 being the upper limit. Thereby, an overload of an HST system is prevented. On a lower load side than the characteristic line Ln of the normal limit mode, characteristic lines L1-L3 of first to third cold limit modes are added. In an extremely cold environment, on the basis of the characteristic lines L1-L3 of the cold limit mode selected according to a motor temperature Tm, when the temperature is lower, the lower pump discharge amount V2 is calculated to greatly limit the pump discharge amount V1, and the load on a motor 27 for driving a hydraulic pump 28 is suppressed to prevent damage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
【課題】極寒環境でのHSTの油圧ポンプの吐出量の増加により油圧ポンプを駆動するモータの負荷が急増したときのモータ破損を確実に防止できる電動油圧ショベルを提供する。【解決手段】通常の温度域では、ノーマル制限モードの特性線Lnに従ってポンプ吐出圧からポンプ吐出量V2を算出し、このポンプ吐出量V2を上限として、レバー操作に応じて求めたポンプ吐出圧V1を制限することにより、HSTシステムの過負荷の防止を図る。ノーマル制限モードの特性線Lnよりも低負荷側に、第1〜3冷態制限モードの特性線L1〜L3を追加しておく。極寒環境では、モータ温度Tmに応じて選択した冷態制限モードの特性線L1〜L3に基づき、低温ほど低いポンプ吐出量V2を算出してポンプ吐出量V1を大きく制限し、油圧ポンプ28を駆動するモータ27の負荷を抑制して破損を防止する。【選択図】図7
