To provide a reinforcement method for a hollow column member capable of improving construction workability.SOLUTION: A reinforcement method for a hollow column member comprises: a through-hole forming process for communicatively forming a through-hole 13 to an inner side of a hollow column member 1A on a peripheral wall 10 of the hollow column member erected on the ground G; an inner part sealing process for sealing a part at a height equal to or lower than that of the through-hole 13 of an inner surface of the hollow column member 1A through installing a bag member 20 in the inner side of the hollow column member 1A through the through-hole 13; a core inserting process for inserting a core member 30 to an inner side of the bag member 20 through the through-hole 13 to position the core member 30 along a vertical direction; a reinforcement material filling process for filling reinforcement material 40 in the inner side of the hollow column member 1A through the through-hole 13 after the inner part sealing process and the core inserting process; and a through-hole sealing process for sealing the through-hole 13 with coating material 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
