To provide a vehicle rear door hinge structure that realizes a hinge cover with a simple configuration and can ensure a large opening defined by a rear door.SOLUTION: A hinge 106 of a vehicle rear door hinge structure 100 includes: a rear door hinge bracket 118 fixed to a side edge 124 of an outer panel 112 in an overlapped manner when viewed from a rear of a vehicle; a side hinge bracket 114 fixed to a side of the vehicle; a rotation shaft 122 located on the vehicle outer side than the side edge 124 of the outer panel 112; a hinge cover 110 covering the rear door hinge bracket 118 and the rotation shaft 122; and a cover bracket 126 fixed to the rear door hinge bracket 118 and connected with the hinge cover 110. The cover bracket 126 is formed with a connection portion connecting the hinge cover 110 within the range of the rear door hinge bracket 118. The hinge cover 110 covers the cover bracket 126 as well as the rear door hinge bracket 118 and the like.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】簡潔な構成でヒンジカバーを実現し、バックドアの開口も大きく確保可能な車両用バックドアヒンジ構造を提供する。【解決手段】車両用バックドアヒンジ構造１００のヒンジ１０６は、車両後方から見てアウタパネル１１２の側縁１２４に重ねて固定されるバックドアヒンジブラケット１１８、車両側面に固定される側面ヒンジブラケット１１４、アウタパネル１１２の側縁１２４よりも車外側に位置する回転軸１２２、バックドアヒンジブラケット１１８と回転軸１２２を覆い隠すヒンジカバー１１０、バックドアヒンジブラケット１１８に固定されヒンジカバー１１０が接続されるカバーブラケット１２６を備える。カバーブラケット１２６には、ヒンジカバー１１０を接続する接続部がバックドアヒンジブラケット１１８の範囲内に形成される。ヒンジカバー１１０はカバーブラケット１２６ごとバックドアヒンジブラケット１１８等を覆い隠す。【選択図】図２
