To efficiently manage currency stored in a currency storage part of a currency storage box or an in-store device and the balance managed by a currency processing device in association with each other when the balance of currency of the currency storage part of the currency storage box or the in-store device is managed by the currency processing device.SOLUTION: A teller machine 10 includes: an operation receiving step (S1) for receiving inventory updating operation of currency balance stored in a storage part which stores the currency balance of a main safe 30 when currency is brought in from the outside of a store or taken out from the store; and a control step (S10) for controlling so as to update the currency balance stored in the storage part on the basis of the inventory updating operation received by the operation receiving step (S1) on condition that a key return notice indicating that a predetermined key is returned is received (S9) from a key management device 20 in accordance with the locking (S7) of the main safe 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
