To provide a cooling device for a work machine which has good responsiveness and enables smooth ventilation.SOLUTION: A cooling device 8 includes a sensor 8c which detects rotation of a fan 8b, a cover 8d which integrally rotates around the same axis a with the fan 8b, and a rib 8d4 provided at the cover 8d at the downstream side of the fan 8b. The cover 8d has an outer cylinder part 8d2. In an outer peripheral surface of the outer cylinder part 8d2, a diameter expands so as to guide a gas sent by the fan 8b to the radial outer side of the sensor 8c.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
