To provide a reinforcing bar retainer that facilitates fitting operations on intersecting reinforcing bars and also enables positioning.SOLUTION: A reinforcing bar retainer is for fixing and retaining two intersecting reinforcing bars at their intersection. The reinforcing bar retainer comprises a right-side member coming in contact with a reinforcing bar A of the two reinforcing bars from a right side of a central line of the reinforcing bar A, a left-side member coming in contact with the reinforcing bar A of the two reinforcing bars from a left side of the central line, and a connecting member connecting the right-side and left-side members integrally. The right-side member and the left-side member include a side part contacting part coming in contact with the reinforcing bar A of the two reinforcing bars on a side part, a bottom part contacting part coming into contact on a bottom part, and a curved part with an almost C-shaped cross-section that stores a reinforcing bar B of the two reinforcing bars on an inner side. 【課題】 交差する鉄筋への取り付け動作が容易でかつ位置決めも可能とする鉄筋用保持具の提供。【解決手段】 交差する２本の鉄筋をこれらの交差点で固定保持するための鉄筋用保持具である。２本の鉄筋のうちの一方において、その中心線に対して右側から当接する右側部材と、この２本の鉄筋のうちの一方において、その中心線に対して左側から当接する左側部材と、右側部材及び左側部材を一体に接続する接続部材と、により構成される。右側部材及び左側部材は、２本の鉄筋のうちの一方に対して側部に当接する側部当接部及び底部に当接する底部当接部と、２本の鉄筋のうちの他方を内側に収容する断面略Ｃ字状の屈曲部と、を備える。そして、右側部材、左側部材及び接続部材は、いずれも線材として一体に形成される。【選択図】図１
