To increase the strength of wireless communication between a key unit and a locking/unlocking device as much as possible.SOLUTION: A wireless communication system includes a locking/unlocking device including an apparatus-side communication module and a key unit that instructs locking/unlocking of an object by communicating with the locking/unlocking device, which includes a unit-side communication module, and the key unit is provided in the object such that a distance between the unit-side communication module and the apparatus-side communication module is within a predetermined distance where communication between the communication modules is possible and the axis of the unit-side antenna coil included in the unit-side communication module is substantially parallel to the axis of the apparatus-side antenna coil included in the apparatus-side communication module.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
【課題】本発明は、キーユニットと施解錠装置との間の無線通信の強度を可及的に高くすることを目的とする。【解決手段】装置側通信モジュールを備える施解錠装置と、施解錠装置と通信を行うことで対象物の施解錠を指令するキーユニットであって、ユニット側通信モジュールを備えるキーユニットと、を有する無線通信システムにおいて、キーユニットは、ユニット側通信モジュールと装置側通信モジュールとの距離が、これら通信モジュール間での通信が可能な所定距離内になるように、且つユニット側通信モジュールが有するユニット側アンテナコイルの軸が、装置側通信モジュールが有する装置側アンテナコイルの軸と略平行になるように、対象物に設置される。【選択図】図９
