To prevent deterioration of a function of a biological information device.SOLUTION: A biological information device 34 includes: a housing 28; light emitting elements 45 and a light receiving element 46 that are arranged in the housing 28 so as to detect biological information by reflecting detection light against a fingertip; a cover 47 that has light transmissivity and can be attached to the housing 28 at a protection position for covering the light emitting elements 45 and the light receiving element 46; and a first holding projection 37 and second holding projections 38 that are formed in the housing 28, can hold the cover 47 at a protection position, releases holding when external force is applied to the cover 47, and permits the cover 47 to be separated from the housing 28.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
【課題】生体情報装置の機能低下を防止する。【解決手段】生体情報装置３４は、筐体２８と、筐体２８に設けられ、指先に検知光を反射させることで生体情報を検出する発光素子４５及び受光素子４６と、透光性を有し、筐体２８に対し発光素子４５と受光素子４６を覆う保護位置に取付け可能なカバー４７と、筐体２８に形成され、カバー４７を保護位置に保持可能であり、且つカバー４７に外力が付与されたときに保持を解除してカバー４７が筐体２８から離脱することを許容する第１保持突起３７及び第２保持突起３８とを備えている。【選択図】図６
