To provide a top-railed sliding door device having a high degree of freedom of an installation position even when a structure protrudes downward on the ceiling side constituting an indoor space.SOLUTION: A top-railed sliding door device 1 includes: a rail 8 supported on a ceiling T side; roller units 9A to 9C traveling along the rail 8; and a panel body 6 supported movably along the rail 8 by the roller units 9A to 9C. The top-railed sliding door device is configured to move the panel body 6 to open/close a passage E for communicating spaces partitioned by a partitioning member 2. The roller units 9A to 9C are fixed to only in the opening direction side of the panel body 6 from substantially the center of the panel body 6 in the width direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
