To provide window glass with a holder and a method of manufacturing the same which can enhance quality and productivity and prevent the breakage of the window glass caused by attachment of the holder.SOLUTION: A holder body 18 is an integral molded article constituted by an inner layer 26 and an outer layer 28. The inner layer 26 is formed to have a U-shaped cross section which pinches a part of a lower end 12B of window glass 12 in a thickness direction of the lower end 12B. The outer layer 28 is positioned outside the inner layer 26, is made of a material harder than that of the inner layer 26, and is formed to have a U-shaped cross section. A connection part 16 is provided in the outer layer 28. The connection part 16 is protruded toward a direction separating from the lower end 12B of the window glass 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】品質及び生産性を高めることができるとともに、ホルダの装着に起因するウインドウガラスの割れを防止することができるホルダ付きウインドウガラス及びその製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】ホルダ本体１８は、内層部２６と外層部２８とからなる一体成形品である。内層部２６は、ウインドウガラス１２の下縁部１２Ｂの一部を、下縁部１２Ｂの厚さ方向において挟持する断面Ｕ字形状に構成される。また、外層部２８は、内層部２６の外側に位置し、内層部２６よりも硬質の材料からなり、かつ、断面Ｕ字形状に構成されている。この外層部２８に連結部１６が備えられている。この連結部１６は、ウインドウガラス１２の下縁部１２Ｂから離間する方向に突出されている。【選択図】図３
