To provide a method of manufacturing an artificial lawn.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method including a step for making a polymer mixture 400. The polymer mixture 400 comprises a stabilizing polymer 402, a bulk polymer 404, a combination of flame retardant polymers and a compatibilizer 406. The stabilizing polymer 402 and bulk polymer 404 are immiscible. The stabilizing polymer 402 includes fibers that are surrounded by a compatibilizer within the bulk polymer 404. The stabilizing polymer 402 is an aramid. The combination of flame retardant polymers is a mixture of triazine and melamine.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
