To provide a mattress basket and a manufacturing method of the same in which load of a worker is small in manufacture and which can shorten manufacturing time.SOLUTION: A mattress basket comprises: a cage body which includes a first bottom face and a first side peripheral face erected from the first bottom face, each face of which is made of a wire net and whose upper face is open; an inner side peripheral portion including a second bottom face provided on the first bottom face in the cage body, a second side peripheral face erected from the second bottom face in the cage body and a protruding portion provided on the second side peripheral face and protruding horizontally; and a filling material filled inside the inner side peripheral portion. The protruding portion is larger than a net of the cage body. The filling material is smaller than the protruding portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
