To provide a sound insulation structure with easy installation and high versatility.SOLUTION: The present invention is directed to a sound absorbing unit 10A for assembling a sound shielding structure 1A formed by linking a plurality of sound absorbing panels 20 with each other and having a side wall portions 2A partitioning a housing space C as a noise source. The sound absorbing unit has the sound absorbing panel 20 having a pair of sides 20c and 20d extended in the vertical direction and a linking member 40 attached to at least one of the pair of sides 20c and 20d of the sound absorbing panel 20. The linking member 40 includes a first supporting part 41 fitted to the sound absorbing panel 20, a second support part 42 for supporting the sound absorbing panel 20 of a sound absorbing unit 10A other than the sound absorbing unit 10A, and a linking part 43 for rotatably linking the first support portion 41 and the second support portion 42.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
