To provide an aqueous coating material capable of general construction methods such as a roller or a spray, having no reduction of coated film physical property, appearance or the like, and largely shortening time until coated film abnormality due to dew condensation or rainfall is disappeared, and a construction method therefor.SOLUTION: The aqueous coating material contains an emulsion as a binder, a crosslinking agent generating a crosslinking reaction with the binder, and a water-soluble salt inhibiting stabilization of the emulsion. 【課題】ローラーやスプレー等の一般的な施工方法が可能であり、塗膜物性や外観等の低下がなく、結露や降雨などによる塗膜異常を生じなくなるまでの時間を大幅に短縮させる、水系塗材及びその施工方法を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】本発明の水系塗材は、バインダーとしてのエマルションと、前記バインダーと架橋反応を生じる架橋剤と、前記エマルションの安定化を阻害する水溶性塩と、を含むことを特徴とする。本発明の水系塗材の施工方法は、前記水系塗材を施工することを特徴とする。【選択図】なし
