To provide an automatic open/close folding door which prevent the folding door in a close status from folding in an open direction even when external force is applied to a connecting part connecting two door panel with a hing of the holding door in an open direction with a simple device configuration.SOLUTION: A folding door 10 configured by foldably connecting two door panels 11d, 11f with a hinge 20 comprises: an electric magnet 80 arranged on the hinge 20 to hold a status of the hinge 20 in which the folding door is closed using magnetic force; and an electric magnet lock control unit arranged in a control unit controlling the folding door 10 to open/close, being configured to hold the status of the hinge 20 in which the folding door 10 is closed using the magnetic force of the electric magnet 80 by energizing the electric magnet 80 when the door 10 closes and release the magnetic force created by the electric magnet 80 by unenergizing the electric magnet 80 before the folding door 10 starts closing motion when the folding door 10 opens from a closed status.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】簡易な装置構成で折り戸のヒンジによる２つの扉の連結部分が折り戸が閉じた状態で開く方向に外力が作用された場合であっても開く方向に折れることを防止することができる自動開閉折り戸を提供する。【解決手段】ヒンジ２０によって折り曲げ可能に２つの扉１１ｄ、１１ｆが連結された折り戸１０が閉じられた状態のヒンジ２０の状態を磁力を利用して保持するようにヒンジ２０に設けられた電磁石８０と、折り戸１０の開閉を制御する制御部に設けられ、折り戸１０が閉じた場合、電磁石８０を通電状態にして電磁石８０の磁力を利用して折り戸１０が閉じられた状態のヒンジ２０の状態を保持し、折り戸１０を閉じた状態から開く場合、折り戸１０を閉じる駆動を開始する前に電磁石８０を非通電状態として電磁石８０による磁力を解除するように制御する電磁石ロック制御部と、を有する。【選択図】図３
