【課題】従来技術の縁無畳用畳表折り曲げ機では、位置決め板の厚みの分、畳床の側面よりも外側の位置に折りくせがつけられ、位置決め板の厚みの分だけ外側へずれた状態で折り曲げられ、完成した縁無畳の表面寸法は大きいものとなり、部屋に敷き込んだ場合に隣接する縁無畳が押し合い、畳表が浮いてふくろ状になる。【解決手段】畳床の側面が位置決め板に当接する位置で床押さえにより畳を保持し、畳表を、折り曲げ板により、畳床の側面側に折り曲げる縁無畳用畳表折り曲げ機であって、位置決め板を複数回昇降させて畳表に押しつけることにより、畳表の、畳床の側面に沿う位置に折りくせをつけ、畳表を畳床の側面に沿わせて折り曲げる。【選択図】図１
