To provide a roof material cutting machine capable of reducing a risk of a movable blade dropping abruptly to enable improvement of the freedom of preparation work after raising the movable blade.SOLUTION: A roof material cutting machine according to the present invention is a roof material cutting machine 1 for cutting a roof material 10, the roof material cutting machine comprising: a cutting machine body 3 having a fixed blade 342; a movable blade 2 attached to the cutting machine body 3 so as to be rotatable around a shaft part 22 provided on the side of one end in the longer direction thereof, where pressing down the side of the other end in the longer direction thereof from a state in which the side of the other end is raised makes the movable blade together with the fixed blade 342 cut the roof material 10; and a rotation holding mechanism 346 for holding a rotation position of the movable blade 2 at at least one position in a state in which the side of the other end is raised.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
